Anyone know if Google has like/dislike for .me.uk names?
TIA

no problemo as far as I can tell.
Just not a lot of active .me.uk domains.
Shak
(I would NOT under any circumstance use the .me.uk extension for a business, no way mate)

I agree with shak. the me.uk names look un-profesional. They are however perfect for personal sites.

Does it really matter though, for mini-sites?

I just think it will inspire more confidence in your users/customers if you offer your site on a .com or .co.uk domain.
Perhaps this is just me looking at it from my own point of view. Perhaps other members will have a different opinion.

Depends.. I'm just doing a .me.uk site for an artist. It might work for cases where the individual is important, e.g. consultancy, arts and that sort of thing.
You can do a search for .me.uk domains on Google, they index fine, and there's a PR6 one too, so they're not penalised. (ODP editors will recognise the owner!)
