Hi,

just wanted to say that Googlebot (64.68.84.x) spidered dynamic URLs with 4 parameters. I never saw this happening before on my site. Somewhere I read that Google will only spider pages with up to 2 parameters. Changes?

Let's see if they make it into the index!

BTW, the bot was hammering with 1-2 requests/second for 20 minutes. Hmmm, the server is strong enough, but it seems a little odd.

Were they 4 actual parameters?

I.E., blah.php?a=1&b=2&c=3&d=4

not

blah.php?a=1+2+3+4

If so, that's a first, AFAIK.

Yes, 4 different parameters foo.jsp?a=1&b=2&c=3&d=4.
One of them contained an URLEncoded String, the rest numbers.

Freshbot has been doing that with us over the last few weeks, but none of the pages have ever actually made it into the index.
