Anyone else notice this? - Google Directory

Looks like time to reminisce

I just looked at the directory across many data centers and it appears to have reverted back to before the rdf dump began working again. That would be some time prior to early February.

Is that what everyone else is seeing everywhere?

Me? I've plumetted (gawd, is that really how you spell it? or is it plumetted. Or does it matter?) from 8th to bottom on SJ, but a search on sj shows I'm still up there on the main SERPS.

All 9 data centres rank my site in the same place, but directory-sj has taken it upon itself to belittle my contributions and place them bottom, below a site that it describes in disparaging terms as
"A very small site"

Well, I could pace up and down, or leave it.
I'll leave it. I added 3 pages of content today instead.

If I can't beat google, maybe I can clog its index up...
4 gigs here we come....

There was a problem accessing the Google Directory about 15 hours ago. At that time any attempted access to [directory.google.com...] or to any category that I tried just stalled for 20 seconds or so before the browser gave me "The document contains no data" error message. That lasted for a few hours then normal access resumed.

Yes quotation,
Earlier today data from maybe two months ago, now as I look again it is back to the older data. They brought something "newer" in (I say newer because it still didn't show sites added two months ago) and then promptly reverted back.

It's not really normal with the data so old.

Maybe a disk crash and a backup from a really old tape?

Now there are some data centers with February data and this: ©2003 Google

and some with newer data and this: ©2002 Google

Curiouser and curiouser.
