There seems to be some shift in Serps over the weekend as we have moved from number 6 back to number one for one of our major keywords. Dont think its down to fresh results as ther is no fresh date beside the listing. Is anyone else seeing this?

Yes I am seeing no date next to fresh listing (but they are fresh listings as far as I can see ;) )

I just checked a SERP I follow on sj and found vastly different results than on the main index. Far to much for the usual freshbot activity. I even checked yahoo's backlinks (they're the same) because of the changes.

I have one page out of 600 showing fresh with date June 6th. All the other pages are data from April 17th (my pages have dates on them)

Nope. I just checked a few SERPs I regularly watch. Exactly the same across all 9 datacenters. If Google had done any major changes, surely these wouldn't be exactly the same.

I have a site that was at #1 and #2 for most of the last two months, but two days ago the pages dropped to #63 and #3 respectively. There were no fresh tags this time. Site was last marked as fresh at the end of May. Site contents have not altered since 2003-05-07.

This happened in a similar way several weeks ago. For several days the main site dropped from #1 to #64 and the other from #2 to #14, but this only lasted for a few days.

Waiting to see what happens this time around. Most odd.

Definite changes in the serps for the kw's that I check. Plus a fairly deep freshcrawl on my site yesterday. Plus, at long last, my new pages have shown up in the results. Inexplicably, one kw that has been rock solid for me for 6 months at #2 has plummeted to 30 - 40. It brought mostly useless traffic so no great loss. Thanks, Google, for finally adding the pages online since mid-March... it looks like we're making progress. (Now if you could work in all the new backlinks...)

I am seeing shifting SERPs as well and June 6 fresh tags for search phrases I monitor.

2 of the major search phrases I dropped for in Dominic are back well up on the first page. Others are still no where to be found, and others are slowly crawling back up from being bumped down 5 pages...... so hopefully they all work their way up eventually.
