Hi,

Sometimes I wish Google would make up it's mind. I have two sites that mysterious dropped from the Google index and received grey bars. Now their pr has returned but they are still not in the index. I tried searching using the URL and still they do not show. So what's up?

ADDED: the two site are about 1 year old and they are not new sites to the serps.

Even more interesting is that the toolbar can show a cached version of the sites. It looks like a page from about 4-5 months ago.

ditto with 1 of my sites. PR back. still does'nt show in the SE. I suspect it will be added in a few weeks since the spider is pretty regular and has been pretty thorough recently.

I had a page whose pr remained the same during the May update, but was out of serps. Just this morning, (about three weeks later) it returned to 3rd position (previously 7th for 3 months) but the pr is now grey. My theory is that G is slowly working through everything.

These two site were both ranked #1 for major keywords is was a big surprise when they disappeared. Now I'm wondering what's going on. I hope they will reappear soon. I think Google is somewhat on the fritz. :(

Well I dont want to scare you but I have one site exactly as the two you describe where is happening to me exactly as you describe and after asking Google they reassured that I am in fact banned

I truly hope this is not your case but here is my comment for what it may be worth it
