www.mydomain.com and

www.mydomain.com/index.html ... Different PR?

Hello,

I just noticed today that a couple of my sites have different PR ( one less ) when i view www.mydomain.com and www.mydomain.com/index.html .

Is this the same with all sites? I haven't observed this before. What makes it have such different PR inspite being the same page excepting that the domain name looks a bit different.

In case of forums also, I have noticed that the PR changes before and after logging in. In most cases the PR reduces after logging in. can this be explained?

In general - at the moment - Google's toolbar is unreliable anyway.
