Try emailing Google and explaining your problem. You will need a good subject line to stop the person at the other end from ignoring your email. Try there addresses:

webmaster@google.com
help@google.com

Is you site indexed. If so, this is a very strange problem.

humpingdan,

I haven't heard of Google or any other SE auto-correcting spelling errors in listings. They index the page as they see it, correct spelling or not.

Don't want to sound condescending, but it might be best to go back and check your work. It wouldn't be the first time that a simple error starting out gets carried through, especially if you base new pages on existing ones or use a template or CMS of some sort.
