Decrease in backward links

Hello,

My link popularity has decreased to nearly half since April end,2003.
I was not associated with any of the free for all links.Neither I have used any software for incresing my link popularity.
There is no decrease in my page rank neither any effect on sales.
It looks like Google is now showing backward links higher than a certain limit(page rank).Does any body have any idea.

It has always been this way (counting only so many over a certain level) and more so for the last month or so - there are already a bajillion threads on this already.

2 months ago there seamed to be a revaluing of pagerank and a lot of sites took the drop a point or two. What this has lead to is a lot of pages that used to show up as a backlink, now not being displayed because they have dropped below the cut off point for being concidered as a backlink. Generaly the cut off point was PR4.

Your backlinks are still counted, just not displayed when you do a backlink search.
