If you check out google for the search term "website hosting" (without the brackets) which is a highly competitive term.

You get some weird results. Including the 3rd listing which hardly looks like it would be the best result (out of all the hosting sites out there today) for a websurfer looking for hosting (no offence to that owner).

It's an ugly site - other than that - all ten results on the first page give the user exactly what he wants. I wouldn't have put any of those on the front page.

Do you think yahoo got the number one listing for their excellent webhosting abilities - no they got it by linking to it from their other sites, but no one complains cause it is yahoo.
