I am about to change the domain name of my site, and I am planning on having the old domain simply roll over to the new one.

Does anyone know what happens with the PR of the site? For instance, if I have a PR5 on the old domain, will that simply be transferred over to the new site?

Hello grant. Yes, in most instances PR will transfer to the new domain. But, you will need to set up a 301 Permanent Redirect so that the PR (and all requests) are permanently redirected to the new domain.
