Hi folks, I'm suffering a strange problem with google and I'm sure anybody here could help me with it. Let me explain:
We've got a site with quite a lot of hits during certain periods of the year. I order to make the download of our homepage and most visited sections more fast and reliable we have divided it in three parts and hosted them in different servers.
We have used three types of urls with www, www1, www2 + "domainname.com". Before the change, google used to crawl really deep into our site and index almost complete. But now the pages hosted in www1 and www2 show a withe bar and important parts of our site (from level 3 and on) are nor spidered neither indexed. The www domain keeps the PR6. But, and this is quite strange stuff, some of the pages with PR0 are showed in the #1 and #2 of the SERPs for 2KW combos against 45.000 competitors. But, unfortunatly with my main KWs it doesn't happen the same (and I would like to fix it)
I've been thinking that the problem could be that some pages are duplicated in two servers. We have added <noindex, nofollow> tags to these pages but I'm not sure if this will be enough to solve the problem because there are other pages, not duplicated, but also showing the annoying withe bar. On the other hand we have our content in other afilliated sites and is not experimenting this kind of problem.
Wich can be the problem?
Thanks in advance!
