PR from multiple sub-domains on demoz?

Hi all,

I have several products which are listed throughout my website. I initially had trouble deciding which category to place my site in, on demoz. If I created sub domains for each product and submitted each to different categories, would I gain PR from more links, or would I just be penalized / ignored by demoz?

My site has an ok PR atm and I don't want to get penalized for spam!

ODP will ignored your listing if you are already listed in the proper category.

Also i suggest that u go through "To Deeplink or Not To Deeplink" [dmoz.org...]

Hmm, interesting read.

It seems my situation would come under 'related links'. I have several different topics on one site, but each topic has a separate sub domain ie. topic1.domain.co.uk, topic2.domain.co.uk, topic3.domain.co.uk etc...

As I already have my home page listed under one topic, I will try submitting my sub domains to their correct topic categories, and see what happens. I have not found anything stating penalization for a domain. So fingers crossed I'll get a better PR throughout my site rather than it all just on the home page.
