Are .co.uk & .com listings different?

Strange

I've done a search on .com and it seems I have been banned (as covered in a recent post) - yet on .co.uk I am top.

I tried it last night and today and it still remains the same. On google.co.uk my site comes top.

Is there a difference between the 2?

That's odd, my uk based .com site has now settled to it's position on all data centers, yet if I search for it on google.co.uk and tick uk sites only it has totally vanished, it was previously in the top 10! My IP address is still a UK based one.

It is just a bit of a dance. Nothing to worry about. The data is changing from old to fairly new and back again across various data centres.

Ok but this is strange -

On .co.uk the listing is EXACTLY the same as the .com but 1 difference - on the co.uk mine is top. Yet on the .com mine has completely vanished.

Basically, both listings seem new, as I have spotted a few sites that were listed far lower a few days ago.

I wonder why my site is top on the .co.uk and not on the .com

If I want to drive myself bonkers I check between .com and .co.uk. I come and go like the british weather :))
