As I searched in Google's Free Site Search ( on [services.google.com...] ) 6320 pages were indexed. Just five minutes later it showed that only 2660 pages were indexed. And a little later it jumped to 6320 again. What's up with this tool?

It's not the tool it's the datacenter the tool was looking at the time.
