First post from me.. (Virgin)...

I've read a reasonable amount of good information over the last couple of months on these forums, so thanks.

Google was doing something on my server last night, don't know if this was "the dance" or not, but a couple of the sites went off google and then came on again..

As (bad) luck would have it the power supply at the location of my server failed for 9 hours, and, a couple of the newer sites which were listed last month are not listed this month. I suspect this is because google not access the site (as the server was down).

Will google have another go at reading the sites over the next couple of days? or do I need to wait until next month? or even resubmit?

thanks,
jim.

welcome to WebmasterWorld jimja,

if your new sites have links towards them from previously indexed webpages your new sites should be fine for renewed spidering.

The googlebots are quite good and persitent in finding new content.

As soon as your site is well established in Google (lets say a PR of for example 6) Google will not want to miss out on your content if your site is down and will revisit several times to recheck if you're still around.
(at least that is what a Googlerep once told me).
