www results

update finshed?

I am seeing all the new results on the www index now. Does this mean that the dance has finished?

From what I have been reading in here, not even close to being done. Im not sure its a update either.

We're trying the make the transition as gentle as possible, but there's still a lot of work left to do.

Correct me if i'm wrong:

Each of the many many many datacentres needs to be updated.

Everytime you search on google your reply may come from a different datacentre.

So, from time to time you see final results. Then you check back 10 mins later (you're directed to a diff centre) and the results are different.

The dance goes on, and this month we have even less idea (just like all of the others) when it will finish.

there are only 2 remaining datacenters to update. All the others appear to be using the new index. (a couple of them are still bouncing around, but they'll stablize in a few hours)

The update has happened/is happening and at the current rate, the last remaining two datacenters will be updated by the end of tomorrow. Then comes the adding in of backlinks and recalculation of a proper PR that isn't from 3 months ago.

It hasn't even been at our servers yet.
I guess it will come 19./20. to us, and I think it won't be finished till at least 23./24.
