I am a new member but have been a glutton for the wealth of information shared on the forum for a good while. In most cases, I have been able to find the answers I was looking for in the archives. I'm afraid that's not the case this time. Because of the urgency of this situation, I felt I needed to address it to the forum for help.
One of our clients has more than fifty domains that were all named based domains and nested on one IP. He requested we assign seperate IP's to these domains. After this was done, "freshie" didn't notice the change of the IPs and proceeded to the original IP looking for the domains.
The problem is that now the different domains are all showing up on the index with the description and cache of the one domain that still resides on the old IP. This is killing our client's search results. We're hoping this is only a temporary situation. Although, I thought maybe some of you Google gurus out there might have a suggestion to expedite a cure. A robot .txt command or any other Freshbot manipulation suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for any help... and for those that so often take time out of their busy schedules to share info on these forums, believe me, you're appreciated by a lot more than you know...
