Does Google Support Frames?

If google supports frames then how to optimize a frame based site?

I just want to know whether there will be any problem in google, if a site is made with frames...I mean if i make a website in such a way that every links opens up in the frame itself.....will there be any problem in ranking well.

1> Will there be any problem in google crawling that site?
Or
Will I have to submit each and every page separately in google.

2> Also If Google does support FRAMES, then, how can I optimize a frame based site.
