Whats on schedule? When will this end? I am pulling my hair out.
My frustration is because since May 13 my home page has gone missing from very popular keywords. I have been sitting in the top 10 for these words for months and months. 1 minute I see my home page in one of the datacenters and the next minute it is gone.
I understand that you want to keep things fresh but I do believe you have gone to far with this update. Keep it simple and quick.
Very frustrated webmaster.

Huh? What are you guys at the Googleplex doing? The site of mine that inexplicably fell to #16 on -fi and -sj just hit #1 on that SERP on -dc? Is what is on the Google schedule driving me insane?
And hmm...I'm still nowheresville on that SERP using allinanchor, when that site should be in the top 10. This makes no sense at all. The spammer on that SERP that crept in the top 10 has fallen way down too. Curious what is happening on -dc. I must go investigate further...

On Schedule for what? Complete disaster?
I have one deliberately very spammy site which ranks great on -dc for numerous terms, while my ultra clean site in the same cat is now ranking lousy.....both have equal backlinks and PR?
Personally I have lost all faith in Google, I'll be advising clients to use Inktomi based search engines in future! They may not index every page...but they don't screw with the algo in this amateurish fashion!
Some of these sites are very "spammy", crosslinked, break all the rules. I don't really care if they get banned....I actually care more if they don't.
Right now I see my "bad boys" killing my "nice boys".....and that scares the heck out of me! (I have more clean than dirty sites)
One way or the other traffic will flow....but this is just crazy!
Google needs to understand that domain names at $8.50 a pop are so cheap they aren't going to prevent SEO's from trying every combination possible.
I make $10,000+ per month from one domain that succeeds, that means I can have 1,200 that fail and still break even.....odds are against you Google, rethink your algo and save us all some money!
More importantly save us all some sleep!
Prove it please! Real sites with real searches and real results would be appreciated......via sticky if necessary.
IMHO GB's have no real effect on sites, low PR's(2) can gain, but try getting a PR5 to a PR6 with GB's.....very tricky task! If not impossible ;)
It's like they took all their household garbage, and have spread it out on their front lawn for the whole world to see.
I'm beginning to think the April deepcrawl was botched even worse than the March one, and they really have no idea what to do about it.
But on el bizarro -dc, I have dropped to #58, with page3 being the search result shown, page2 being an indented result, and page1 only being shown when "more results from" is clicked!
That's not just weird, that is flat out bad search engine-ing.

Several dozen sites are now all over the place in the SERPS on SJ, FI, & DC - with some very good results that I don't deserve, and horrible results on my more mature sites....
Maybe this nightmare is Google's way of expanding its AdWords campaign. If so, I'm in. I just increased all my campaigns, and am going to stop wasting time with this until G gets things back on track.
I've sent in 4 separate spam reports for these sites over the last couple of months, but rather than see any penalties, their positions have improved!
I have two questions:
1. Is Google currently paying any attention to spam reports?
2. Is spamdexing a new and fantastic SEO technique these days?
Things will look the way they should eventually.
Google is not stupid - they are not purposely driving us nuts or producing crap results for www.
As you can see www has reverted completely back to where it was before this whole sj,fi,dc, etc stuff started.
So now I believe we are going to see one of the dataceneters change to april's deepbot data then other centers will start to show similar stuff similar to the way the sj results were passed along and mnagled by each datacenter. This time though the good stuff will be added and be the time it hits www it will be that big gold castle we all know it should be :)
Long live Google! Bow to thy Majesty!
Guestbook links, junk link exchanges, and insta-site "fresh" keyword drivel are valued.
Pagerank and linking from authority sites are dramatically degraded.
I hate to break it to you folks at the 'plex, but buying pagerank is nowhere near as lame as signing guestbooks.
Also, I've never been into silly paranoia but ---
"Maybe this nightmare is Google's way of expanding its AdWords campaign." ---
So have I. The alternative of signing guestbooks and joining lame link exchanges just because Google likes them is just too embarrassing to do.
