Oh oh!

Have just seen new results on www. www2 still makes me think of sandwich meat. Are we in for a surprise in the next few hours?

>>Have just seen new results on www

That gave me the impression you believed seeing new results on www was some kind of sign, sorry.

if its really the update then i already have decided my next tactic:

10 identical pages that look like

[x.com...]
[x.com...]
[x.com...]

etc...etc...

;)

It's so "funny"

When I built my first web site, I used my ISP's free web space. I never deleted it, mostly because I moved country, and I can not now ftp in (you have to ftp in using them as an ISP, and they do not have International access numbers, just "local" rate access for the country itself).

Oh well, it doesn't rank anywhere. So, for 2 years I have basically forgotten about it.

Now, my site that was on page one has gone into Google hiberbation on www2. And low and behold, my original site is now on page 2!

So Google may have single handedly increased air travel when it needs it most. As thoughts of catching the next plane, updating the original site (before the ISP eventually delete it through inactivity), and flying back are now flowing in my mind!

Yes, I have seen new results appearing on www. But I do not understand why you referred me to that other page.

If it was because the new results normally appear on www. wholesale / en mass. Maybe there has been a change in the way it happens.

I looked to see if it was freshbot results moving up and down, but I do not think so. I think it is the real / new dance.

Lets move any additional update related questions/comments to one of the pre-existing update threads.

I see freshbot changes with fresh dates listed. For two weeks, I read posts about the update starting, go to www to check and see the exact same index. In fact, I checked all 9 of the known data centers and nothing different except the -sj and -fi. I think when the REAL update starts, it will be unmistakable, clear and unambiguous.
