Types of links google spiders

Hi,

I have searched around here a lot and can not find any information on this.

Will google spider links that are formatted like /a_directory/ instead of /a_directory/index.html or /a_directory/index.php

My site currently uses the first type of links as its easier to maintain. If google does not spider this type of link I will change it to the second type.

Jamie, Google will follow such a link and index what is served on that location. So if your server is configured to show a page (index/default page of that directory) that page is what Google sees there.
