Ariff44, the point is that you can search for pages that do not contain a certain term in a particular site. "-asdfghj site:" was mean to be an example to illustrate it. Maybe this is more clear:

-searchword site:example.com

That will search the domain example.comfor pages that do not contain the word searchword

Should probably also mention, in case it's not obvious, that you can leave the "-" off to search the site for pages that do contain your term.
