If you have a web site targeting the u.s. market or other countries should the web site be on servers located in that country?
Are people receiving different results depending where they are located?

Lately I've heard of and seen different results based on the region someone is searching from. I don't know if it's just a fluke kind of thing or if it's actually something Google does (or is working towards doing).
I'd recommend you hosting country or region specific sites in that country or region regardless of what Google does.
