'page not ranked by google' in toolbar-is my site banned?

when i check my site in the toolbar it says 'page not ranked by google'

that does that bean it is banned by google or its simply not indexed.
i have had a duplicate content problem and i always thought my site is banned by google.

im not sure now.

It might mean that Google doesn't have any of your pages in its index, or that you have no incoming links. Do this:
allinurl:www.yoursite.com site:www.yoursite.com
Put all of it in Google to see how many pages they've indexed. If zero, then that's the explanation for not being ranked in Google. They don't know your site. To get in, you need links from other sites that are already indexed.

If you are in already and don't have rank, that means you don't have enough links. Go out and get some more! If, however, you receive good traffic and appear high in search results for targeted keywords, and you're happy and content, just forget about PR. :)
