Wow. I can't it's been already been 1000 posts on WebmasterWorld. I joined about a year and a half ago, so that averages out to a couple posts a day. Sheesh. :)

Seems like it was just a few weeks ago that the Google News forum passed 100K posts, but now it's already up to 121,846. Congrats to Brett and the moderators for running such a fun forum; it's a great place to hang out, answer questions, and talk about search engines. Thanks Brett!

Whaddya think guys? Isn't this off-topic? Is this really Google News? (RC's hand moves slowly towards the 'nuke' button.... suddenly, he has 2nd thoughts... What if GG decides to go for HIS nuke button?)

Congrats, GG! Welcome to the 4-digit club.

In his case all news is google news.

Does googleGuy get penalised 5 quid when his posts fall below the minimum CTR? ;)

Nice one, cool that a being from the mysterious inner chambers of gooooogle takes his time to keep us company. Keep it up GG.

Congratulations GG. It's been an incredible 18 months here in Forum 3. To be totally honest, I wasn't sure you would stick around long enough to become a true member.

Thanks for proving me wrong. :)

GoogleGuy quakes before the sheer volume of rcjordan's 8000+ posts. :) Just out of curiosity, who has the most posts? (excluding Brett..) :)

GG is right about pi, but for more decimals see this
pi [wigren.sci.fi] page.

Actually, pi has been legally defined to be equal to 3 by some mathematically challenged county commission somewhere, so any other arguments about the issue are officially moot.

Furthermore, if Pythagoras (in whatever incarnation he currently exists, of course) catches you claiming pi is irrational, he'll bump you off, he once killed a man for proving that the square root of 2 cannot be represented as a fraction.

Wow, how did we get this far off topic?

It seems that some people even think it would be good idea to define PI as 4.0

However I can only proof it by google (and we're on topic again)

Yeeeeeessss!,

I recently posted my 10th message! Which makes me,... a total Noob! However, I've got more quality information from those 10 posts and the Webmasterworld community than the rest of the SEO sites put together, and you're directly responsible for the encouraging progress of my site. Here's to making it 20 ;)

cheers,

Jeremy
