vBulletin site went from 59 links to 1,870 links thanks to dumping the session ID (over 300 more than I saw the deepcrwal get)!
My other new smaller sites got a total of about 1,000 new links added!
Why do people post where they are from if they reference specific data centers? It shoudln't matter, right?
FWIW, I saw some SERP changes in data center 8 compared to the rest earlier.
There is so much traffic going to Santa Clara it's causing routing issues. "We" are taking the 'net down! :-O

My site does not show up at all on www2 or www3. Is it just too early? If I check back links to my site on www I have over 100. If I check back links to my site on www2 or www3, I have none.
Is it just too early for me to be concerned? Man, I was hoping to increase my position this month. I didnt do any spamming techniques, so I am curious what could be happening. Any ideas?
All the datacenters seem more stable now.
When I do a search of my domain name without the www or .com I show 59 listings as opposed to the 39 I had.

When I do a "link:www.mydomain.com" on www3 I show zero results.
Uh- why is that? I checked and they are all links from PR4+ sites.
This is my sites 2nd full update and I am hoping my links will add a bit of PR to my site.
Do I just need to wait until the dance is more stable or over until the Backlinks will FINALLY show up from the Google Toolbar or "link:www.mydomain.com"?

Not yet, although I see too Category : appearing under some search resulats that DIDN'T have it berfore.
AW: my rule of thumb is not to worry about backlinks/toolbar display during an update. If we crawled 50% more pages from your site, we saw links to you just fine. :)

Web design and graphic design are huge terms, but i've hardly got any visitors from them. Now I'm well within reasonable searching range.

(I'll use my site as an example, but I'm sure this applies to many other sites)
My site was recently switched to a new ODP category, (along with 4 other sites) and with this update, Google is showing the site's in the new category, except when you click on the category listing... the page it gives, is somewhat of a custom error page, I guess google hasn't updated in this sense and here's what it says:
The requested category Arts > Music > Bands and Artists > P > Pink Floyd > Chats and Forums could not be found. It is likely that this category has been moved to another location within the directory.
