[labs.google.com...]

If you do a search for your terms in this new beta tool, it appears that you might be getting a "preview" of the update to come.

I did a test of stable search terms throughout the wwwx array, and then compared to this, and they are all different.

If it isn't a sneak-peek, than it is definately a different algorithm.

Hi,

This is my first post and has nothing to do with the update, but I was looking at the gviewer and noticed that pages using css do not show up correctly, any thoughts?

People are seeing old pages?

My page shows an update I made an hour ago!

<-- My page shows an update I made an hour ago!

because you are viewing the page on YOUR server not the page in the google cache.

in other words the page you are seeing in the frame below as you move through the SERPS is being pulled from your server.

edit: clarification

Serps seem old to me. It may be confusing because the viewed page seems to be loading directly from the site rather than cache, thus the appearance of freshness.

It's missing my Style Sheets on every page! This looks terrible.

Old listings, displaying current server content here. Tried this tool a while back; neat idea but I don't think it's a looking-glass for the update. Course, could be wrong.

I see same as the (slightly updated) pages on www (in Europe).

Tool doesn't work properly in Opera :(

Nothing. It apparently doesn't support CSS. This is obviously the Alpha version of what may one day be a nice tool.

I for one find the referrals and user-agents from this search interesting.

I searched for one of my domain names (without the extension, i.e. redwidgets, not redwidgets.ws); the #1 result had no referrer, and gave u-a as "Python-urllib/2.0a1" in the logs; second and subsequent referrals were as "http://216.239.33.136/cgi-bin/gvps.cgi?http://www.<redwidgets>.com/(page-name).html", with the UA of my browser.

Just in case anyone sees these referrals in their logs, and is curious...

Wow, that is really cool. I'm seeing new results. Now I'm hoping these will be the ones that go into the update :)
