Pointing a new domain to a specific folder/file

will it affect pagerank when someone links to me?

I'm pointing a new domain name to a specific folder in my old domain. (Something like what apple does with mac<.>com)

I'm wondering if there will be any difference in pagerank if someone links to me via my new domain name or via the entire path of the file.

Is this considered cloaking? Or just simpily redirecting. How will the spider index this page?

No.

Depends on how it's done. It can be done with or without redirecting.

Depends on the method you are using to forward the URL requests. It may be indexed under the new domain name or the old domain name, depending if a redirect header is sent.
