cloaking on free hosts

I'm just wondering if you need a top level domain to cloak or can does cloaking work for domains such as subdomain.tripod.com or geocities.com/subdomain

I've heard the SE don't like free hosting but was curious if cloaking can work with free hosts?

I dont think you will be able to cloak on a free host as you dont have the technology available to you.

There may well be some free hosts that offer a domain name an the requirements to cloak.
