Hi,

I an considering purchasing a cloaking script and I was wondering if KloakIt is any good? Has anyone used this script with good results? The reason why I like this script the most is that it has a built in doorway/generator that can build pages according to your own template and keywords you specify, and you can enter in random text by using special tags, so I suppose it would be possible to create thousandss of pages that are different enought, that they won't be considered too spammy.

I am tired of building by hand, I need to get everything automated so I can be more productive. I would appreciate any insight regarding this product if you have used it before.

Oops Sorry, I didn't know you couldn't mention program names in this forum. It's too late for me to edit my message above now.

Be careful, cloaking by itself is not inherently "bad" but can be used for "bad". The amount of "different" pages does not make any difference at all whether its spam or not.

Its spamming if you are displaying something different to the search engine robots than you are displaying to "real people". Google itself is very clear on this and i can understand why if this technique is widespread it will reduce the relevance of SERPs in areas that people use it.

I see the charter says "we will not engage in product evaluations." Is there somewhere anyone can suggest that I go for such info/discussions?

I think they are more lenient on that in the paid subscriber forum.

if you want to cloak well - the only way to do it it to write your own code

anything generated by cloaking code is 99% certain to have tell-tale signs in the html it generates / way it behaves which will allow anti-cloaking eg google to cut out all the sites using the product after having caught just one

imho!

You mean hand-coding the IP and UA detection part or the HTML Template generation code? The former is best left to scripts if you don't know server programming. The latter is recommended by hand coding. If really pressed for time at least a Custom Template. :)
