is it possible for you guys to get some people from other SE like Mikkel to enter into the cloaking issue.
Perhaps it could be the start to defining Cloaking spam... And what better place than WmW???

I think it is important that we can find a stand point, that we can "sell" to the SEs. We should serve them with good arguments and maby ideas how to stop the spamming.

Bates, you'd be surprised who lurks here. It's up to them, doors are open 24 hours. Sometimes it takes a friend-of-a-friend to get them in on any issue, they are understandably 'shy.'
Henki is right, of course. Present them with a good debate, perhaps offer them a little shielding from the 'why didn't MY site make the Top Ten' type of post, and who knows?

i definitely agree with both of you - RC and Henki.
But if they are lurking around and summon the high priest of courage.. and finally make their presence felt, i just hope that there will be no serious "so why isnt my page in the Top Ten questions" too.

There are a few se people that read here. Not to glean seo knowledge, the latest tricks, or identify anyone, but to clear up some of the more glaring misquotes or information. I had several nice exchanges with the se's regarding the forums here. I really don't see how any other engines could be approached to do this kind of exchange.
