I already have a cloaking script but how can i implement it on the pages of my site? If i implement it on the html page that page will be converted into a .cgi page as the cloaking script is a cgi script.....will this effect the search engine optimization in any way?

You might want to create a directory on your server that you can just experiment with before you try to cloak "for real"

It sounds like you need to add this to your.htaccess file in the directory you are using or create an .htaccess file with the following:

AddType application/x-httpd-cgi .htm

Then you rename the cloak.cgi
to cloak.htm

Once again, experiment first before you go live with cloaking, you don't want it to backfire

IMO I would also initially recommend serving the same pages to human visitors and spiders, gradually changing either the cloaked pages, or the human pages, to suit your objective. More margin for error and learning this way.
