Can anyone recommend some places to go in order to check site load times for a web site?

Thanks,

Prety neat tool.

I like the summary at the bottom of the results page that breaks down the good/bad points of the webpage.

I never knew that my css file would fit into one of the smaller high-speed packets!

I can see that the Terms of Service might be a bit frustrating for this question - but those policies are important, and allowing links to online tools gets into self-promotion too easily.

However, you can have your very own speed checker (including a lot of nifty suggestions about packet size and so on) by using Firefox with the Developers Extension - under the Tools tab there is a "Speed Report" option.

And I believe the the Bobby accessibility checker also gives a speed report - that may be worth looking into also.
