internet explorer - changing opening page

every time i open my internet explorer..it connects to another discussion forum where i am a member....problem is this is very irratating ...how do i stop this from occurring, my browser is the internet explorer Version 6.0. Any help will be appriciated.

With your browser open, click Tools>>Internet Options>>General

In the spot where you see the cositrenz URL, type in the URL of your choice, then click "Apply".

At the top of your screen click on Tools
Then select Internet Options
Then Click on General (may already be selected)
Where it says homepage, address: type in a new URL for a website you want to start on every time.
