Translating a webpage

how easy or difficult is it?

I want to implement translation option on my wepage...right now i am looking at translating the home page in 3 different languages and would like to know opinions on the best way of doing this.....

Are there any scripts available to do this? need help desperately....

also how do i make sure that these translated pages say in chinese are really proper chinese and are making sense to those who can read it?
