Do you limit the length of your URLs?

Should URLs be under 55 or 60 characters?

I read that it's better to keep the length of a URL beneath 55 characters in Yahoo, or 60 characters in Google.

I'm looking at our dynamic URLs...very tough staying in these limits.

Do y'all have a "magic" number on the suggested length of URL strings?
