In short, it's a proprietary Symantec (Norton) function from your Internet Security program. The program injects a javascript call into the HTML that is sent from the server - so it comes from your machine, not the website.

Symantec tech support is the best place to turn. If you get a chance, it would be good to know what their answer is.
