I'm using IE6 with Outlook 2003. Everytime I click on a hyperlink in my email or word program this "Locate Link Browser windows pops up. This is really trying my nerves trying to get rid of it. I went to regit32 and removed the DDE from the registry that didn't work I went into folder options and removed the DDE check from URL-Hypertext transfer protocol. that didn't work. Does anybody have a answer to hit save my sanity. I really don't want to reformatt but I can't get rid of this windown pop-up.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, lelk37!

Have you tried (in IE) going to Tools > Internet Options > Programs and then clicking the Reset Web Settings tab?

Also, on XP there is a utility available from Microsoft called Powertoys. Part of that package is something called TweakUI which may help you to reset these settings.
