When I hit Ctrl+F5 to refresh my browser (Firefox 1.0 preview release) I get a blank space between the td's (or between the image and the td, I am not sure) in my header. However, when I click on a link to continue browsing, the header looks fine. Also when using just F5 to refresh, it looks fine as well...

This is the code I used :

<tr>
<!-- Fonts used in images: Denmark & arial black -->
<td width="10" valign="top" ><img src="/images/gradient_block_left_review_headers.gif" alt=""/></td>
<td width="290" valign="top" ><img src="/images/hardware_reviews_header.gif" alt="DVD Hardware Reviews"/></td>
<td width="306" valign="top"><img src="/images/media_reviews_header.gif" alt="Storage Media Reviews"/></td>
<td width="304" valign="top"><img src="/images/software_reviews_header.gif" alt="Software Reviews"/></td>
</tr>

Very strange designaweb.

Is the page being created by some server side script? the reason I ask is the Ctrl-F5 forces a new HTTP request (rather than just going to the local cache)?

I know it's a long shot, but I've had other problems where Norton Internet Security has altered the code of pages I've viewed.

Maybe you could try disabling this (or similar software) just in case?
