Hey all, I think this site is a great resouce, and which I had found it YEARS ago.

Come to think of it, last year would have been sufficient.

I am trying to become more accustomed to html, and STOP USING depreciated code.. I am addicted to the font and other tags, mostly from a basics only attitude...

I have a couple website projects that I am working on, and the use of tables seems to be a little heavy, used mostly for 'formating' in the right spot. This is good news and bad news.. I've learned a new bunch of tag's I've fallen in love with.. (colspan & rowspan etc..) but dont want to use them for EVEYTHING.

Anyone have a nice tutorial site that will explain DIV and other useful tags that are html strict compliant?

Thanks alot..

The very best tutorial around for understanding Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and how to replace tables with CSS positioning is right here in the WebmasterWorld CSS forum library [webmasterworld.com]:

CSS Crash Course [webmasterworld.com] by the CSS forum's former moderator Nick_W.

Also check out the library [webmasterworld.com] for this forum too for more HTML-specific threads which will help.
