If I go to this site <Sorry, no example URLs. See TOS [webmasterworld.com]> I have no problems viewing it in fully patched IE6.

But my friend at another location, with all MS patches applied and the latest version of Flash Viewer, gets this:

----------
HTTP Host Header error
If you can see this page, it means you are using an old version of your browser eg Netscape Navigator 1.x or Internet Explorer 2.x. Upgrading to a later version will solve this problem.

To obtain the latest version of Netscape Navigator, go to www.netscape.com/download/

To obtain the latest version of Internet Explorer, go to www.microsoft.com/ie/

For other browsers, go to your browser's web site.
----------

A Google search reveals a lot of these same errors but I haven't been able to find an explanation.

Yes, they have JavaScript enabled.

Strange thing is they can't even load the Flash site's SWF by itself. They get a 404 page.

Anyone got any ideas?

TIA,
- Bill H.

Welcome to the board Bill

What version of IE is it(with build number). Can they view any Flash on the web with that browser?

I don't know the specific build number, but it is IE6 patched right up to date. I had him go through Windows Update and install all offerings.

Yes, he can view other Flash sites that I asked him to check out.
