Table vertical position

Newbie:

I have created 2 table(and placed them in 2 separate css div so that the 2 tables line up on the page vertically). When I had 9 rows, the table began a certain distance from the top. When I added more rows to the tables it causes both tables to move further down the page which I don't want. Any suggestions?

Are you using absolute positioning to line up the tables? Is this only in 1 browser or many?
