Beyond that, a scroller hurts the rest of your page. The constant motion is an irritant and a distraction from the prinicipal information your page hopes to deliver. Reading on screen is already hard enough!
If your scroller is in the status bar, then it's even more likely to be overlooked. If it contains important information, then that information belongs in the static page somewhere -- it will get through to your audience much more effectively.
So that's my advice, but if you really feel you need the scroller, then find the script in your source code and the IE error message points you to the exact spot in the script where the error happens.
If you can't see what the error is, then post your javascript code (not your domain) over in our Javascript Forum with a short explanation of the problem you've run into.
If you can't find it on your hard drive, just go to the web page with your browser and then view the source. In Internet Explorer you do this by choosing "View > Source" from the menu.
