I don't get the same statistics as [w3schools.com...] , but mine would be misleading too. MSIE 6 and Mozilla 1.x are the most frequently used but do you want to ban other browsers and other OS such as Linux?

I never could make any good estimates based on Google's stats, mainly because they just display that small chart which you need a magnifying glass to read but not give any percentages at all.

Bottom line is if you create pages that work in all browsers it doesn't matter what the stats are. Assuming of course, that that is why you want to know.

Like others said, statistics can vary greatly. For my site, roughly 3/4 of visitors are using IE 6.0.
