Hi all

I hope someone can help me to resolve this problem.

I am running IE6 with SP1 running windows 2000.

In IE about a week ago the UK Pound sign changed to displaying the J char instead of the pound sign.

I have deleted the temp files etc

Im rather beaten as to where the problem has arisen or how to resolve it to make IE6 display the UK pound sign again.

If anyone can offer surgestions I would be pleased.

As a footnote: this happenes also in IM software like aim and yahoo as well!

Check your settings. Your webpages should state en-gb, your windows settings should all be to UK in order to see the pound symbol correctly.

Have you downloaded a cyrillic font? Or any other font for that matter? I downloaded cyrillic a while back so I could read Russian webpages and my pound signs turned into Js as well. Not that it bothers me, I'm quite happy to see prices listed in Js as in sterling.
