I want to receive more training on building my website. I am currently using Dreamweaver. Is it recommended to use the online training courses by Macromedia? It seems to me that $249/year is a worthwhile investment.

Some options

1. Buy book
2. Read tutorials online (there are loads)
3. Pay a mate to run you through stuff.
4. Go to pub with money saved.

5) stay here and read 'till your eyes hurt' (as someone once said ;))

I've been very disappointed with any web classes I've signed up for.

There's no substitute for experience and trial and error in this field. There are plenty of free online resoucres, including www.w3schools.com so you don't need to take courses.

My guess is that the Macromedia class will teach you how to use Dreamweaver, not build web pages. The only real tool you need to build web pages is a simple text editor.
