extracting from .eml

client/friend wants .gif & .midsnippet

I've been asked to pull an animated .gif and a .mid from an email attachment.

I don't know how to pull them out or follow back to the source.

It's just a fun little thing that's happily working its way around the world, so I don't have any ethical qualms. I'm at a loss, but he'd sure be impressed if I could manage it.

The text is posted on a slew of pages (evidently pretty popular), but of course none of the sites that I found used the same .gif or .mid

Try a search for base64 decoder. I've had to use decoding tools especially when Macintosh users send me attachments.
