fixing HiveWare mailto Enkoder javascript?

Anyone have any experience with fixing the javascript for the HiverWare Enkoder Form 6.0?

A note on the above. I got an email from HiveWare that they check their code back to NS 4.7.

The version I used that crashed on their code is NS 4.03, which I use because it is finicky... possibly too finicky. It's JavaScript version 1.2. NS 4.7 is JavaScript version 1.3.

That said, does anyone who's used the HiveWare Enkoder know whether I should be concerned about other browsers, or is 4.03 just too old to be any kind of barometer these days?
