Ok, well on Sunday I implemented some code to generate a different index page based on resolution settings. To my astonishment, being this is only Tuesday here, 15% of all my unique visitors were at 800x600! I'm glad that my site is still usable at that resolution.
Whew!

P.S.Shame on me, I haven't tested for anything lower than that, so don't burn me, I know it won't look good at something smaller. ;)

Wow, 15% seems kind of low but could reflect an audience that has recently purchased a new computer, perhaps. I'm averaging around 43%

I'm glad that my site is still usable at that resolution.

I brought in three new computers for my office this week. Had my consultant guy install 'em for me as I was busy training new staff.

All 17 inch monitors. All were set up as 1024x768.

Within an hour of the users being on their new machines, all had changed back to 800x600.

It ain't dead yet by a long shot.
