I require this for testing.

Keep in mind that you cannot run an older version of IE concurrently with another version.

If you have a spare Windows 98 computer lying around (that you upgraded to a later version of IE), then it's possible to downgrade back to IE 4.0 by going to add/remove programs in the control pannel -- if you remove IE5/6, it *should* replace it with IE4 when you reboot.

I have just bought another new PC and have a spare windows89se for running these tests on and intend doing as hartlandcat suggested, cheers for reminding me that removing ie5.5 from control panel first. Knowing me I might have just tried to install on top of 5.5 :)
